Three choice of hydraulic oil viscosity
Choose the right viscosity hydraulic oil. High temperature and high pressure system to choose high viscosity hydraulic oil, so as to obtain better lubricity, on the contrary, low temperature and low pressure system, should choose low viscosity hydraulic oil, so as to reduce energy consumption.
Specifically, the viscosity of hydraulic oil concentrate is too high, which is beneficial to lubricity, but increases the resistance and pressure loss of the system, resulting in increased power loss, oil temperature rise, hydraulic instability, noise, etc. Too high viscosity will also cause difficulty in oil absorption when the pump starts at low temperature, and even cause interruption of oil supply when starting at low temperature, resulting in equipment failure. On the contrary, when the viscosity of the hydraulic system is too low, it will increase the internal and external leakage of the hydraulic equipment, and the working pressure of the hydraulic system will be unstable or the pressure will be reduced, which will lead to abnormal wear of the pump.
