Mine Support Emulsion Oil
Shandong Sanjing Lubrication Technology Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive enterprise integrating scientific research, development, production, sales and service, and has been committed to becoming a green and efficient energy chemical production service provider. Mine support emulsion oil is a key component used in the hydraulic support systems of coal mines. It is usually composed of base oil, emulsifiers, rust inhibitors and other additives, and forms an emulsion with water to provide power and lubrication for the hydraulic support equipment.

Performance of Mine Support Emulsion Oil
● Super lubricity and extreme pressure, high performance, low consumption, low cost, high efficiency.
● Good cooling and cleaning, can make the tool and workpiece surface cooling quickly, improve the processing speed, can effectively remove chips, grinding chips, iron powder, oil, sand.
● Excellent anti-rust performance.
● Excellent emulsifying effect, emulsifying stability is good, made of emulsion, no oil out, with good wettability and lubricity.
● It has good rapid defoaming effect and belongs to the anti-foam type.
● Economic security, long service life, not easy to corrupt deterioration, good stability effect.

Element of Mine Support Emulsion Oil
The mine support emulsion oil is composed of the following substances in percentage by weight: 15.0%-20.0% of mineral base oil, 8.0%-10.0% of boric acid, 10.0%-12.0% of triethanolamine, 10.0%-11.0% of petroleum sodium sulfonate, 0.5%-0.8% of benzotriazole, 20.5%-22.5% of ethylene glycol, 13.5%-15.5% of urea, 6.0%-8.0% of EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetraacetic Acid)-tetra sodium, 1.0%-1.5% of sodium hydroxide and the balance of water.
The emulsified oil has excellent freeze-thaw property, wear resistance, extreme pressure resistance, and rust and corrosion resistance, and thus is capable of satisfying the use of the hydraulic support under the conditions of an underground severe environment.

● The viscosity index is a characteristic used to indicate variations in the viscosity of lubricating oils with changes in temperature. The higher the level of the viscosity index, the lower the variation in viscosity at temperature changes.
● In other words, how much viscosity changes as temperature changes.
● The viscosity index, or VI, of a lubricant describes how the oil's viscosity changes as its temperature changes.
● As temperatures increase, viscosities decrease, and vice versa.
● For example, a piece of machinery that operates over a wide range of temperatures will require a lubricant with a high VI, meaning that the oil will retain its lubricating characteristics whether it is starting up cold or running at full speed and peak temperature.
● It is the rate of change of viscosity between two temperatures.
● The lower the VI, the more the drop in viscosity as the oil warms up.
● The higher the VI value, the less the drop in viscosity as the oil warms up.
Mine Support Emulsion Oil - Storage and Maintenance Conditions
Hydraulic support with concentrated liquid should be stored indoors, to prevent the sun and rain, storage temperature is not less than -5℃, do not mix with other oil.
The shelf life of the concentrated liquid is six months (based on the delivery date). After the expiry date, the concentrated liquid can be used only after passing the inspection.
Special containers and dispensing tools must be used for the use of concentrated liquid, and the containers and tools should be kept clean to avoid mixing impurities and affecting the quality of concentrated liquid.
Quality Control Test of Mine Support Emulsion Oil
DROP DILUTION METHOD:
This method is based on the principle that emulsion is always miscible with theexternal phase. If water is added to water in oil w/o type emulsion, it will not bemixed. On the other hand, oil mixes well.Same is the case with o/w type emulsion. If oil is added to oil in water o/w typeemulsion, it will not be mixed. On the other hand, water mixes well.
FLUORESCENT TEST:
Based on the fluorescence of oils under ultraviolet light, the emulsion is examinedunder the light in the microscope. If the whole fluid is fluorescent, it is water in oilw/o but in case of oil in water o/w spotty fluorescence will appear.
DYE SOLUBILITY METHOD:
It is based on the solubility of any dye in the external phase. Amaranth, a watersoluble dye gives color to oil in water o/w type emulsion, but not to water in oil w/otype emulsion. Same is the case with oil soluble dyes.
ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY TEST:
Based on the electrical conductivity of aqueous solutions, the electric current issupplied and electrodes are placed in the emulsion. If the current is passed, it is oilin water o/w and if is not passed, it is water in oil w/o.
DIRECTION OF CREAMING TEST:
Creaming is the sedimentation of the dispersed phase which is either upwards ordownwards, upon which this test is based. The density of oil is mostly less thanwater. Thus if creaming is at the upper side, it is oil in water o/w and if it isdownwards, it is water in oil w/o type of emulsion.
FILTER PAPER TEST:
Take a filter paper, put a drop of emulsion on the filter paper. Evaporate it; if thereis a spot on the filter paper, the emulsion will be water in oil w/o. On the otherhand, if there is no spot, the emulsion will be of oil in water o/w type.
